Teen Patti, also known as Tash Wala game, is a competitive card game where the player with the best card combinations wins the pot. Taas Patti game is originated in India and the rules of this game are similar to “3 Card Brag” which is popular in The United Kingdom. It is one of the most popular fun games which incorporates both the elements of skill and luck. The objective of this game is to have the best three-card hand to win the pot.
A standard deck of 52 cards is used to play this game and is played by 2 to 17 players. Before any cards are dealt to the players, a minimum stake is decided. The minimum stake is called the boot. The minimum stake that is predetermined is collected from every player before the cards are dealt. The boot is placed at the center of the table called the pot. Each player is dealt with three cards face down. As the game progresses, the pot continues to increase. The pot is taken by the one who has the best three cards in their hands.
